Insurance Follow-Up Representative

The Insurance Follow-Up Representative role is fully onsite in West Chester, IL. Pay is $22–$27 per hour, with a Monday–Friday, 40-hour schedule and a flexible start time. The representative follows up on insurance accounts receivable to resolve outstanding claims and support timely payment. The role reviews claim records, monitors payer status, corrects and resubmits claims, and manages appeals within payer deadlines.

What you'll do

• Contact insurance carriers about open and outstanding claims
• review accounts receivable and claim documentation for delays, denials, or discrepancies
• monitor claim status in payer portals and internal systems
• correct and resubmit claims
• initiate and manage appeals
• address complex denial scenarios
• meet daily claim productivity expectations.
