Job overview

The Kinship Navigator role is onsite in Saint Louis, MO, with compensation of $19.23–$21.16 per hour. FamilyForward supports kin caregivers as they navigate legal, educational, and medical systems and community resources. The navigator responds to referrals, works with caregivers to identify needs and remove barriers, and develops navigation plans. The role also records service data, coordinates with community partners, and uses information about needs and resources to inform systemic advocacy efforts.

What you'll do

  • Respond to referrals from community members, kinship parents, and inter-agencies.
  • Help caregivers identify and remove barriers to services, obtain releases and consents as needed, and develop navigation plans and needs assessments with caregivers.
  • Record client and resource data, analyze trends, communicate with supervisors, liaise with community stakeholders, attend meetings and trainings, and complete 20 hours of annual training.
