Registered Nurse (RN)/Paramedic Weekend IV Technician

Job overview

The Registered Nurse (RN)/Paramedic Weekend IV Technician role is onsite in Rogers, AR, and is part-time, with a schedule of 14 hours weekly and weekend availability required. Compensation is $25 per hour plus tips and commissions. IV Nutrition provides vitamin and nutrient therapies in a clinical, spa-like environment. The technician assesses clients and administers IV and intramuscular therapies while monitoring treatment responses and maintaining safe, hygienic care. The role also documents client interactions, performs phlebotomy as needed, and helps keep the clinic clean, stocked, and organized.

What you'll do

• Greet clients and attend to their needs
• learn and use the point-of-sale and charting systems
• assess physical health, vital signs, and mental status
• identify contraindications to intravenous therapy
• administer IVs using aseptic technique and administer intramuscular injections
• attach infusions to saline locks and adjust drip rates as needed
• monitor treatment responses
• manage and prevent infections
• document client interactions, assessments, and treatment responses or reactions
• perform phlebotomy as needed
• help maintain clinic cleanliness and supplies
• assist with inventory as needed.

Why this role
