What you'll do

• Assume accountability for resident care on the assigned unit
• report incidents promptly and follow up with the Administrator and Director of Nursing
• participate in directed committees and programs
• contribute to policy and procedure development
• oversee resident care
• participate in quality assurance meetings and reporting
• communicate significant resident-condition changes to physicians, families, or responsible parties
• make daily rounds
• support nursing staff
• attend nursing supervisory meetings.
