The aide prepares meal-production supplies and ingredients, follows production sheets, plates meals and liquid nutrition, and cleans and sanitizes kitchen and dish-room areas. The role contributes to timely meal service and a hygienic environment through teamwork with the department.

What you'll do

• Read and follow directions to prepare meal-production supplies and areas and prepare ingredients for Cook staff.
• Follow production sheets and work the tray line, plating full meals and liquid nutrition.
• Wash and sanitize pots and pans, operate the dish machine, put away clean dishes, and clean and sanitize the dish room, walls, counters, and machine.
• Clean floors, coolers, transport carts, drawers, counters, and fans.
• Work with other members of the Nutritional Services Department and maintain a high level of personal hygiene.
