Dunnage Operator — First Shift

The Dunnage Operator role is onsite in Ypsilanti, MI. Pay is $15 per hour. The position works in the Dunnage Department and reports to the Plant Manager. The standard schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. The operator processes customer materials and dunnage through industrial cleaning and production equipment while meeting quality, safety, and production requirements. Accurate production and inventory transactions support operational performance and customer requirements.

What you'll do

• Operate dunnage washing and production equipment
• process customer materials to quality and production requirements
• record production, inventory, and shipment transactions in Plex ERP
• inspect machinery before operation
• perform basic adjustments and routine preventative maintenance
• monitor material condition and report issues
• operate forklifts and material handling equipment when authorized
• maintain a clean and safe work area
• follow OSHA, environmental, and company safety requirements.
