Senior Structural Engineer

What you'll do

• Perform structural analysis and design for permanent and temporary works related to surface and underground mine facilities
• generate or direct sketches, drawings, material take-offs, and other design deliverables
• collaborate with operations, engineering, project management, and multidisciplinary teams
• work within project schedules and budgets
• apply relevant structural codes and standards
• provide technical assistance during tender and procurement
• review shop drawings and support fabrication
• direct structural analysis and maintain calculation records
• participate in design reviews and risk assessments
• respond to field inquiries
• conduct quality reviews and prepare site reports
• prepare project closeout documentation
• oversee engineers’ and designers’ work, mentor team members, lead site visit teams, and support proposals and estimates. Occasional travel to project sites, offices, and shop reviews is required, potentially for several weeks and overseas.
