The Director of Academics and Training role is an onsite, full-time position in Washington, DC. The base salary range is $80,000–$120,000. Community College Preparatory Academy is an adult learning institution focused on adult student success and strengthening academic and workforce programs. Reporting to the Executive Director/CEO, the director leads academic and workforce development programs, strengthens instructional and operational systems, and advances learner persistence, credential attainment, completion, and transitions to further education and employment.

What you'll do

• Lead academic and workforce development programs
• stabilize, improve, and scale academic programs using data-informed decisions and performance management
• oversee curriculum development, instructional quality, scheduling, and professional growth of instructional and support teams
• develop strategies to improve learner persistence, credential attainment, completion, and transitions
• partner with executive leadership on organizational systems and capacity
• represent the Academy with education agencies, grant partners, and community stakeholders.
