What you'll do

• Assess wounds and document measurements and characteristics
• monitor healing and report abnormal findings
• implement provider-ordered treatments and dressing changes
• assist with debridement and advanced procedures within RN scope
• prepare patients and supplies and assist providers
• coordinate orders, referrals, and transitions of care
• document interventions and education
• follow infection-prevention and safety procedures
• educate patients and caregivers on wound care and warning signs.
