Press Operator is an onsite role at Presrite Corporation’s Bessemer plant in Cleveland, OH. Starting pay is $27.01 per hour. The operator sets up and runs mechanical forging presses to turn steel billets into finished parts while maintaining quality and safe work practices. The role coordinates with production and quality personnel and helps meet department objectives in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

What you'll do

• Operate and set up mechanical forging presses
• adjust press settings for quality, tonnage, and operation
• inspect presses before operation and report malfunctions
• set up and maintain automation equipment
• visually inspect forgings and raise quality concerns
• direct and assign crew members
• follow standardized procedures and safety practices.
