What you'll do

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical systems and equipment
• review and prioritize maintenance issues and work orders
• monitor assigned work
• inspect the property for maintenance needs
• plan and carry out maintenance programs
• service the pool
• estimate department expenditures and assist with capital budgeting
• solicit and evaluate contractor bids
• recruit, mentor, and train facilities staff
• coordinate with inspectors on code and regulatory compliance
• perform preventive maintenance
• maintain the building exterior when not handled by a contractor
• respond to guest requests and complaints.
