Commercial Roofer

Job overview

Commercial Roofer is an onsite role in Nashville, TN; pay is $20–$28 per hour. The construction department completes new and retrofit roofing projects and sheet-metal installation for clients.

What you'll do

• Remove, repair, and install commercial roofing systems, insulation, and flashing
• use trade tools and approved rooftop equipment
• follow project and trade safety requirements and use personal protective equipment
• select appropriate materials
• install membranes, insulation, flashing, and sheet-metal components
• and help maintain a safe work environment. The role works with a crew, generally four to eight workers depending on the project, and may provide instruction to less-experienced workers as directed.
