What you'll do

• Coordinate dietary services with nursing, housekeeping, social services, and other departments
• assist with departmental policies, procedures, equipment, and supplies
• help assess residents’ dietary needs and develop and review care plans
• ensure dietary staff use care plans in daily services
• provide substitute foods of similar nutritive value when residents refuse served foods
• process diet changes
• inspect food storage and supply areas
• maintain dietary progress notes and menus
• participate in facility surveys.
