The Nuclear Liaison Engineer 3 is an onsite role located in Newport News, VA. Compensation is not specified for this position, which supports the Nuclear Propulsion Construction and Process Engineering team at Newport News Shipbuilding. This role exists to provide hands-on waterfront support, manufacturing engineering support, and oversight for the construction and final assembly of the Reactor Plant and supporting systems. It contributes to the team by resolving technical issues that arise during construction.

What we're looking for

Education

Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.

Experience

Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of relevant exempt experience; Master's Degree and 3 years of relevant professional experience; Ph.D. and 0 years of experience.
