Activity Coordinator

The Activity Coordinator role is onsite in Sacramento, CA, with compensation of $21–$23 per hour. Love Joy Adult Day Health Care Center provides a program for adults with mental, physical, or cognitive impairments and supports participant well-being and individual goals. The coordinator develops and leads activities tailored to participants’ needs and interests, adapting programs for different abilities and encouraging inclusion. The role works with the multidisciplinary team to support each participant’s care plan and create meaningful opportunities for engagement.

What you'll do

• Participate in participant-needs assessments and care planning
• develop a monthly activity calendar
• plan and lead group activities, games, music, arts and crafts, movement, cultural celebrations, and special events
• adapt activities to physical, cognitive, sensory, and social abilities
• collaborate with nurses, social workers, therapists, aides, dietary staff, and leadership
• organize activity supplies and spaces.
