The Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician (Relief) role is onsite in Cambridge, MA. Compensation is $27–$68 per hour. Veterinary Emergency Group’s hospitals provide emergency care for people and their pets around the clock. The technician supports emergency veterinary care from triage through treatment and discharge, working with doctors and the care team on diagnostics, nursing, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care. The role also provides compassionate support to pet parents during stressful situations.

What you'll do

• Provide triage, nursing care, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing
• assist with IVs, CRIs, blood transfusions, CPR, imaging, sample collection, and tube placement
• support patients and pet parents through tests, treatment, and discharge
• collaborate with doctors and teammates.
