The Afternoon Assistant Teacher works onsite at Guidepost Montessori’s Kent, WA campus, Monday through Friday, either 2:00–6:00 p.m. or 3:00–6:00 p.m. Compensation is not specified. Guidepost Montessori’s mission is to nurture children’s independence, curiosity, and joy and help each child reach their potential.

What you'll do

• Observe children to understand and support individual needs
• prepare and maintain an orderly classroom
• support individual and small-group learning activities
• build respectful relationships with children and families
• collaborate with Lead Guides and other team members in a mixed-age Montessori classroom serving infants, toddlers, and children ages 3–6.
