The Hosted Voice System Administrator role is onsite in Orlando, FL; compensation is not specified. The position supports Smart City Telecom’s hosted voice customers and reports to the Manager, VoIP Services. The administrator configures and maintains cloud-based voice and unified communications services, helping keep customer deployments reliable. The role contributes through provisioning, testing, troubleshooting, end-user support, and coordination with engineering, network operations, and field teams.

What you'll do

• Assist with hosted voice installations and deployments
• configure accounts, extensions, devices, call queues, auto attendants, hunt groups, and voicemail
• manage number-porting requests
• test calling, E911, voicemail, routing, and features
• troubleshoot phones and related equipment
• train users and administrators
• process service changes and tickets
• maintain customer and implementation documentation
• monitor network and voice-quality indicators
• support SBC, SIP trunking, and cloud voice administration
• resolve escalated issues with carriers and vendors
• coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Operations, NOC, and Field Services.

Why this role

Requires 3+ years supporting VoIP, Hosted PBX, or unified communications platforms; knowledge of SIP, RTP, TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, and QoS; and a valid driver’s license. Occasional customer or field-site driving and meetings outside standard hours may be needed.
