What you'll do
- Plan, coordinate, and provide resident nursing care
- lead care-plan conferences
- assess and document resident conditions and needs
- implement physician orders
- assign care to team members
- supervise and evaluate LPNs, LVNs, and CNAs
- administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments
- participate in staff orientation and training
- assist physicians with tests and procedures within the scope of the state Nursing Practice Act
- maintain supplies and equipment
- report resident observations
- coordinate care with other departments
- and support nursing-unit scheduling and staff direction.
