What you'll do
- Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration, wound care, and skilled nursing procedures
- assist residents with activities of daily living
- supervise nursing assistants and medication aides during the assigned shift as applicable
- monitor residents and report changes in condition
- develop and review care plans with the interdisciplinary team
- document care
- coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges
- and participate in quality assurance, staff education, and regulatory surveys as needed. Requires an active RN license in the state of practice
- one year of clinical nursing experience is required, with long-term care experience preferred. CPR/BLS certification is preferred.
