Sewing Operator — Day Shift

The Sewing Operator — Day Shift role is onsite in New Braunfels, TX, with a scheduled shift of 6:00 AM–2:30 PM. Compensation is $17.49–$21.25 per hour. The role supports Simpson Race Products’ production of high-performance safety products. The operator uses manual or automatic sewing equipment to produce assigned items to quality and production standards, inspecting materials and finished work and maintaining equipment and an organized work area. The position may also support assembly and packaging based on production needs, helping the team deliver accurate, quality products.

What you'll do

• Operate sewing machines and related equipment
• inspect and maintain machine components and oil levels
• sew products to quality and production expectations
• inspect materials and finished work
• troubleshoot basic machine issues within training and authorization
• report production, quality, material, and equipment concerns
• maintain an organized work area and follow safety procedures. May assist with assembly, packaging, material cutting, and other production tasks as assigned.
