What you'll do

• Administer Linux enterprise servers and HPC clusters
• support research applications, VDI, cloud servers, file and storage systems, and virtualization
• install and test patches and applications
• monitor and tune performance
• troubleshoot integrated system issues
• ensure backups and security hardening
• manage HPC job scheduling
• automate routine tasks
• design and document server and application architectures
• provide technical support to faculty, staff, and students
• train and supervise junior staff and student employees
• support university emergencies as required.
