The Registered Nurse (RN), Cardiology/Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Nights role is onsite in Farmington, NM, with compensation of $29.05–$46.48 per hour and a $2 sign-on bonus. The nurse supports a 24-bed Cardiology and Intermediate Care unit at a 198-bed Level III trauma center serving the Four Corners region. The role provides nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, neurologic, and other listed diagnoses, supporting monitoring and continuity of care on the unit. The schedule is 7:00 PM–7:30 AM; the posting describes patient ratios that vary by acuity and care level.

What you'll do

• Provide nursing care on the 24-bed Cardiology and Intermediate Care unit for adult to geriatric patients, including patients with STEMI, NonSTEMI, stroke, post-cath, and ETOH diagnoses.
• Work with telemetry, T-1 monitors, IV pumps, crash carts, and the Cerner EHR.
• Night-shift ratios are 1:3 for patients with active titrating drips, 1:4–5 for standard IMC patients, and 1:5–6 for Med/Surg patients.

Why this role

Associate degree in Nursing or higher, current state RN license or ability to obtain before starting, BLS upon submission, at least two years of acute-care experience, and at least one year of IMC or cardiology experience are required; two years of IMC or cardiology experience is preferred.
