The Housing Associate role is onsite in Rochester, NY, part-time for 20 hours per week, with a Friday–Sunday schedule from 4:00 pm to 12:00 am. Pay is $19.25–$19.75 per hour. The associate helps maintain a safe, supportive, trauma-informed shelter residence. By overseeing residence operations, conducting intakes, responding to crises, documenting activity, and coordinating with community providers, the role supports residents and the program team.

What you'll do

• Oversee residence operations and conduct intakes
• liaise with community service providers and referral sources
• provide information and referrals
• provide crisis intervention and conflict management
• maintain client census, database, and shift documentation
• report emergencies and serious incidents
• monitor resident safety and presence, conduct rounds, and maintain the facility. Support clients and volunteers, engage security systems, assist with housekeeping and other assigned duties, and participate in meetings and training.
