Drop Bury Technician

Job overview

The Drop Bury Technician role is onsite field work in Borger, Texas, with outdoor job sites assigned by the company. Compensation is $22.50 per hour. USIC provides underground utility damage prevention and infrastructure services to utilities and municipalities. The technician locates and marks underground utilities before burying coaxial and fiber-optic cable lines. The work includes reading maps and records, operating locating and digging equipment, documenting completed work, and coordinating with customers, contractors, property owners, and teammates to protect existing infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Drive a company vehicle to assigned sites
• locate and mark underground facilities using records, maps, prints, and locating equipment
• trench or bore cable lines
• record work using company or customer software
• photograph completed work
• follow safety procedures
• check equipment and supplies
• coordinate with utility representatives, contractors, property owners, and teammates.
