The Deli/Bakery Associate role is onsite in Pierre Part, LA. Pay is $9–$10.50 per hour. The role supports the store’s Deli/Bakery department by preparing and serving food and assisting customers. The associate contributes to customer satisfaction and department operations by preparing deli and bakery items, handling customer orders, maintaining clean equipment and work areas, and receiving and storing products. The role also includes answering questions and addressing customer concerns, escalating issues to a manager when needed.

What you'll do

• Prepare, cook, bake, and serve deli and bakery items
• handle phone and custom orders
• slice, weigh, and wrap cold cuts and cheese
• label products
• assemble and decorate cakes or bakery items as requested
• serve customers at the hot line
• clean department equipment and areas
• report equipment problems
• receive, inspect, and store products
• answer customer questions and refer unresolved issues to a manager.
