The Behavior Technician / Registered Behavior Technician position is onsite in New York, NY, working one-on-one with children with autism in home or community settings. Pay is $20–$23 per hour. United Care ABA hires technicians to provide structured, skill-based behavioral health support to children. The technician applies ABA-based strategies to support communication, social skills, independence, positive behaviors, and daily living skills. With supervision and mentorship from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, the role also uses de-escalation and regulation strategies and tracks behavior and progress data.

What you'll do

• Work one-on-one with a child with autism in home or community settings
• apply ABA-based behavioral strategies
• support communication, social skills, and independence
• use de-escalation and regulation strategies
• help develop executive functioning and daily living skills
• teach and reinforce positive behaviors
• track behavior and progress data
• receive supervision and mentorship from a BCBA.
