The Controller role is onsite in Philadelphia, PA, with compensation of $100,000–$110,000 per year. The position leads the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of Mazzoni Center’s health center and reports to the Chief Financial Officer. The Controller oversees accounting operations and staff, maintains accurate financial reporting and internal controls, and manages grant accounting and regulatory compliance. The role also supports leadership with budgets, forecasts, audits, and financial analysis so the health center can manage its resources and program operations.

What you'll do

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and consolidated financial statements
• supervise and develop the accounting team
• oversee cash management, banking reconciliations, and investment activities
• manage grant accounting and compliance
• maintain internal controls
• prepare annual audit and Single Audit schedules
• oversee Medicaid/Medicare cost reports, UDS reports, and IRS Form 990
• assist with budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
• partner with clinical and operational leaders.

Why this role
