Job overview

The Grants Manager role is onsite in Jackson, TN, with annual compensation of $48,282–$60,352. The role supports the College’s mission and strategic priorities by securing and stewarding external funding. The Grants Manager leads grant development and management from opportunity research through proposal submission and post-award compliance. The role coordinates faculty, administrators, staff, community partners, and funding agencies to pursue resources that advance student success, workforce development, and community impact.

What you'll do

  • Identify and track federal, state, local, and foundation funding opportunities
  • coordinate proposal development, submission, and approval
  • write or assist with proposals
  • convene project teams and coordinate narratives, budgets, work plans, evaluations, logic models, and support letters
  • develop budgets with the Grant Accountant and other stakeholders
  • serve as liaison with funding agencies and partners
  • support project start-up, reporting, data collection, and compliance monitoring
  • maintain grant records and tracking systems
  • collaborate on outcomes and evaluation plans
  • prepare reports on grant activity and outcomes
  • provide guidance and technical assistance to faculty and staff.
