What you'll do

• Administer prescribed superficial radiation therapy treatments according to protocols
• prepare patients by reviewing plans and explaining procedures
• operate and maintain SRT equipment
• verify patient identity, treatment site, dosage, and physician orders
• monitor patients and report concerns
• document treatments and patient responses in the EMR
• maintain treatment records
• perform routine quality assurance and assist with calibration and maintenance as needed
• maintain clean, safe treatment rooms
• educate patients on treatment expectations and follow-up
• collaborate with clinic staff
• participate in training and competency assessments.

Why this role

Graduation from an accredited Radiation Therapy program, current ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (RT(T)), applicable state licensure, and current BLS certification are required. One year of radiation therapy experience is preferred.
