Job overview
The Area Maintenance Technician role is onsite, traveling from Jefferson City, MO, to Washington, MO, and supporting properties in the region. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; compensation is $20–$30 per hour. Fairway Management supports affordable housing communities and rental properties.
What you'll do
- Perform routine maintenance, including rough carpentry, painting, and basic equipment and facility repairs
- prioritize work orders
- maintain property curb appeal
- prepare properties for state, investor, REAC, and INSPIRE inspections
- conduct quarterly preventive maintenance checks
- troubleshoot, repair, and replace HVAC systems
- lead unit turns
- train assigned staff
- and travel to support neighboring properties and attend required training or conferences. The posting also requires after-hours on-call availability.
