The Risk Management Intern / Recent Graduate role is based onsite at Carson Group’s headquarters in Omaha, NE. Pay is $18–$20 per hour. The intern supports the development and standardization of enterprise risk infrastructure by documenting policies and processes, developing risk and control matrices, identifying gaps, and drafting risk statements. The work produces structured materials used by Legal, Compliance, Cybersecurity, and business operations.

What you'll do

• Document and standardize policies, procedures, and process flows
• develop and enhance Risk and Control Matrices
• identify policy, procedure, and control gaps
• draft risk statements using root-cause methodology
• support control design and documentation
• maintain materials in SharePoint and centralized repositories
• coordinate with stakeholders across business units, Legal, Compliance, and Cybersecurity
• present findings and recommendations as needed.

Why this role
