HVAC Installation Technician Trainee

Job overview

The HVAC Installation Technician Trainee role is onsite in Twin Falls, ID, with a full-time schedule starting at 7:00 a.m. and overtime opportunities available. Pay is $15–$25 per hour based on experience. Terry’s Heating and Air Conditioning provides heating and cooling services to homeowners and businesses. The trainee works alongside experienced installers to learn installation methods and develop trade skills. By assisting with residential and light-commercial system installations, testing, and job-site safety, the role contributes to quality installation work and customer comfort.

What you'll do

• Assist with installing furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-split systems, and indoor air-quality equipment
• help install duct systems, refrigerant piping, gas lines, venting, and electrical components
• prepare tools and materials
• load and unload equipment
• assist with startup, testing, and final checks
• maintain clean and safe work areas
• communicate with customers and team members
• participate in training.
