What you'll do

• Learn to operate laser systems safely and independently as directed
• apply laser safety requirements
• handle parts and materials using industrial trucks, hoists, cranes, and rigging
• support laser technology implementation and hardware, software, and fixturing development
• assist with operating and maintenance procedures
• inspect customer parts before, during, and after processing and maintain documentation
• support quality-system and recordkeeping activities
• and prepare and mount metallurgical samples as directed.

Five shift options are listed: first shift, 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.; second, 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.; third, 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.; weekend days, 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.; and weekend nights, 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. On-the-job training is provided to acceptable candidates.
