Structural Estimator

Structural Estimator is an onsite role in Mesa, AZ. Compensation is not specified. The estimator works in the Estimating Department and reports to the Director of Sales & Estimating at Graywolf Integrated Construction Company. The role produces accurate, detailed estimates for structural steel projects so the Pre-Construction team can interpret and execute them. It supports project planning by analyzing documents, estimating materials and labor, coordinating with project teams, and communicating potential cost risks.

What you'll do

• Review blueprints, specifications, and client documentation
• prepare estimates for new projects and change orders
• calculate steel material takeoffs, shop labor, field erection, materials, buyout items, equipment, and crane costs
• collaborate with fabrication, purchasing, field erection, pre-construction, sub-fabrication, vendors, Sales, and project teams
• communicate risks and alternative recommendations
• enter estimates and takeoffs in the company program
• follow estimating guidelines and procedures.
