The Assistant Manager role is onsite in Layton, UT, with compensation of $17–$18 per hour. The position supports Jersey Mike’s restaurant operations and its focus on fresh-sliced subs, teamwork, and community involvement. Working with the General Manager, the Assistant Manager helps lead daily operations, develop team members, and maintain food quality, cleanliness, and customer-service standards. The role contributes to restaurant performance through shift leadership, operational support, and attention to food safety and costs.

What you'll do

• Help lead day-to-day restaurant operations
• coach, develop, and motivate team members
• assist with hiring, onboarding, and training
• lead shifts while maintaining food quality, cleanliness, and customer-service standards
• monitor labor, productivity, and food quality
• assist with inventory, ordering, deliveries, and food-cost control
• ensure food-safety and sanitation compliance
• address customer concerns
• support scheduling and performance goals
• and open or close the restaurant as needed.
