The Senior Systems Engineer, Digital Engineering Solutions role is onsite in Sterling, VA. Compensation is $160,000–$200,000 per year. Modern Government Solutions provides mission-focused technical and programmatic services to the U.S. intelligence community, the Department of Defense, and other government agencies. The engineer deploys, maintains, troubleshoots, and sustains enterprise engineering platforms in secure cloud environments. The role improves reliability and operational readiness through automation, integrations, testing, and infrastructure improvements that enable national security missions.

What you'll do

• Configure, deploy, maintain, and optimize Teamwork Cloud, Cameo, Cassandra, and related platforms
• implement Automation as Code and CI/CD pipelines
• develop integrations among engineering platforms, workflow systems, automation tools, and enterprise services
• administer databases, authentication, and identity management
• troubleshoot application, infrastructure, and integration issues and implement corrective actions
• conduct testing and validation
• support DevOps automation using Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, and GitLab
• collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and program stakeholders
• maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
