The Forming Machine Operator 1 role is onsite in Mundelein, IL, on the first shift, Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Pay is $23 per hour. MacLean-Fogg manufactures engineered components for automotive and industrial applications. The operator runs forming equipment and supports production flow while checking parts for quality and documenting production. The role helps deliver accurate components safely and consistently to the next stage of manufacturing.
What you'll do
- Operate and monitor forming equipment according to work instructions
- load raw materials and maintain production flow
- perform quality inspections using measuring tools and gauges
- report equipment issues, defects, or production concerns
- complete production documentation and scrap reporting
- assist with machine setups, changeovers, and preventive maintenance
- support packaging, labeling, and material handling
- maintain a safe, clean, organized work area.
