Structural Engineer, Hybrid

Job overview

The Structural Engineer role is hybrid, based in Fenton, MO, with partial remote work and an office within commuting distance. Compensation is up to $120,000 per year, based on experience, with an annual performance-based bonus of up to four weeks’ salary. The role supports building design projects across commercial, municipal, residential, and institutional sectors. The engineer leads or supports concurrent design projects, develops structural designs and construction documents, coordinates with clients and project partners, and reviews construction-phase materials and inspections. The role also supports junior engineers’ professional development and project delivery.

What you'll do

• Lead or support multiple design projects
• interface with clients, attend meetings, and manage timelines
• design with concrete, steel, wood, and/or masonry systems
• prepare calculations, construction documents, and specifications
• review shop drawings, RFIs, and field inspections
• collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors
• mentor junior engineers.
