Robotic Welder Service Technician

The Robotic Welder Service Technician role is onsite in Schaumburg, IL, with service work at customer facilities throughout North America. Compensation is $35–$43 per hour. CLOOS North America supports customers using robotic welding equipment. The technician repairs, installs, calibrates, and maintains robotic welding systems and provides customer support and training. The role contributes to customer equipment reliability through troubleshooting, system assembly, programming support, and professional communication with customers.

What you'll do

• Repair customer equipment in-house or at customer facilities
• install robotic welding equipment
• support new and used equipment at customer sites
• provide basic robot programming support during and after installations
• address customer concerns and report possible resolutions
• train customers to operate and maintain equipment
• perform preventive maintenance and calibration
• assemble and test equipment in-house
• provide phone, SMS, and email support
• assemble robotic systems.
