What you'll do

• Program CNC machines using G-code and/or CAM
• set up machines, including fixturing, tooling selection, and work/tool offsets
• machine complex precision components
• verify critical dimensions against blueprint specifications and ±0.001-inch tolerances
• diagnose machining issues and implement corrective actions
• coach CNC operators and assistants
• document production activities and inspection results.
