Lead Project Controls Analyst (Cost Controls)

The Lead Project Controls Analyst (Cost Controls) has a hybrid schedule, with four days in the office and one remote day at headquarters in McLean, VA. Base salary is $140,000–$150,000 per year. The role supports PowerHouse Data Centers, a developer and owner of data centers and a division of American Real Estate Partners. The analyst leads project and portfolio financial analysis, cost controls, schedule reporting, and governance for major capital projects. The role provides leadership with forward-looking financial visibility, manages project controls standards, and mentors other analysts and specialists.

What you'll do

• Govern budgets, forecasts, and draw schedules
• standardize estimate-to-complete, estimate-at-complete, and scenario-based S-curve analysis
• review and present variance analysis
• optimize project controls systems and data governance
• review change orders and invoices
• govern change control and contract ledgers
• oversee schedule performance reporting
• maintain reporting frameworks, dashboards, and work breakdown structures
• mentor project controls staff.
