Patient Engagement Specialist

The Patient Engagement Specialist role is onsite in Waterbury, CT. Pay is $24–$27 per hour. The position supports Chase Medical Research’s clinical trial recruitment and participant engagement work. The specialist helps identify and communicate with potential clinical trial participants, supporting recruitment and pre-screening while promoting a positive participant experience. The role coordinates with recruitment staff, study coordinators, and physician investigators to support enrollment and study needs.

What you'll do

• Explain study details to prospective participants
• conduct phone screenings using IRB-approved scripts
• document candidate traits in the CRM
• respond to participant questions and escalate complex inquiries
• build participant relationships
• coordinate advertising and outreach plans
• review charts against protocol criteria
• communicate with coordinators and physician investigators
• represent the organization in sponsor and CRO interactions.
