GTI Fabrication builds custom enclosures and skids and integrates mechanical and electrical systems for customers in renewable energy, power generation, infrastructure, and industrial systems. The engineer provides senior technical leadership for electrical architecture, design, integration, and troubleshooting across modular power and industrial projects. The role supports projects from concept through manufacturing, testing, and commissioning while mentoring engineers and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

What you'll do

• Lead electrical architecture and design
• develop and review diagrams, schematics, wiring plans, panel layouts, and cable schedules
• design and integrate power distribution, switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS, ATS, MCC, VFD, and control systems
• perform and review electrical calculations
• guide complex designs and lead design reviews
• support controls integration, factory acceptance testing, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting
• ensure designs are manufacturable and aligned with customer requirements
• support prototypes, production launches, documentation, and continuous improvement
• mentor engineers and establish engineering practices.
