Maintenance Technician – Industrial Machine Repair

The Maintenance Technician works onsite in Spring Grove, IL. The stated pay range is $17–$24.75 per hour. Scot Forge manufactures custom open-die and rolled-ring forgings for demanding applications in infrastructure, energy, transportation, manufacturing, mining, and national defense. This role maintains plant equipment by diagnosing and repairing mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical problems. Its work supports safe, reliable production through equipment repairs, maintenance documentation, and fabrication tasks.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• diagnose, rebuild, and repair plant equipment
• disassemble, inspect, rebuild, and reassemble heavy industrial machinery
• document repairs and preventive and predictive maintenance
• perform repair and fabrication welding, brazing, and torch operations
• promote workplace safety.
