Chief of Cardiac Surgery in Ann Arbor, MI. This is an onsite, full-time position with 25% administrative time. AMN Healthcare is seeking a BE/BC Cardiac Surgeon to serve as the Inaugural Chief of the MyMichigan Health Cardiac Surgery Program.

What you'll do

• Develop a cardiac program with excellent support.
• Step into strong clinical volume and referrals.
• Lead as the inaugural Chief of the MyMichigan Health Cardiac Surgery Program.
• Shape a cardiac-only service line with 25% administrative time.
• Hold University of Michigan faculty employment and benefits while practicing at MyMichigan Health.
• Lead team building and partner across MyMichigan Health and Michigan Medicine to build a unified cardiac surgery program.
• Direct 600+ annual open-heart and structural heart procedures across 2 sites.
• Lead 320+ open cases and 200+ transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) procedures annually.
• Grow a cardiac surgery group planned to expand to 3 surgeons.
• Build with interventional, heart failure, and electrophysiology specialists, plus dedicated support staff.
• Work with cardiac-trained anesthesiologists, certified registered nurse anesthetists, and a dedicated structural heart team.
