What you'll do

• Work with local employers to identify talent needs
• source and screen candidates
• plan hiring events and job fairs
• provide outreach and recruitment assistance
• collaborate with Career Planners on candidate placement
• track customer information and activity
• maintain labor-market awareness and share job leads
• build employer and community connections
• promote Michigan Works! business services and employer initiatives
• assess eligibility for employer-related programs
• develop recruitment, training, screening, apprenticeship, and on-the-job training opportunities
• present employment workshops.
