Youth and Family Counselor

What you'll do

• Provide direct services to runaway and homeless youth
• conduct individual and family counseling, assessments, and crisis intervention
• support referrals and youth advocacy
• partner with shelter managers, case managers, and staff
• maintain client and program records
• conduct neighborhood and community outreach
• participate in supervision, meetings, training, and community committees
• transport clients when required and consistent with agency policies.

Why this role

Full-time, 35 hours per week, 12-month position; Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, with flexibility to meet family needs. Requires a master's degree in social work or related field and at least 5 years of related experience; LMSW or LCSW preferred. Valid driver's license, regular vehicle access, and specified insurance are required.
