Project Engineer – Healthcare

The Project Engineer – Healthcare role is onsite in New York, NY. Pay is $95,000–$140,000 per year. JB&B’s engineering team designs mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and delivers healthcare projects alongside work in other sectors. The engineer leads and coordinates design work, project documentation, and cross-discipline collaboration to support successful project delivery. The role also reviews team work and mentors junior engineers while communicating technical decisions to clients and project partners.

What you'll do

• Lead design for tenant fit-outs and contribute to base-building and infrastructure upgrades
• prepare contract documents and design criteria
• lead design for ancillary trade systems
• review shop drawings, RFIs, and change orders
• conduct site visits and punch lists
• support schedules and proposals
• coordinate disciplines and design changes
• address project issues
• review junior staff work
• and mentor engineers.
