Assistant Maintenance Supervisor

What you'll do

• Inspect facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs
• assign and oversee staff duties
• obtain contractor bids and oversee contracted work
• purchase supplies and equipment when the supervisor is absent
• maintain common areas and garbage-removal routines
• perform minor painting, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
• document resident work orders
• report major repairs and upgrades
• maintain exterior areas
• follow safety policies
• supervise staff in the supervisor’s absence.
